Snow Part II

For the second time this winter it snowed! This being my third winter in Charlotte it is exciting because the last two winters it only snowed once in the winter season. I did get some photos on my way to work to show how little snow we got and even with that there were hardly any people driving on the road.

The roads were pretty clear so there was no talk of cancelling work. They did however cancel school, which is great for the kids!

More Southern Food

As I was grocery shopping last night and my Harris Teeter I happened to remember that I wanted to try more southern food. This hit me when I walked by the meat isle and saw Liver mush and Liver pudding. What a treat! OK not really but I did have to take a picture of them.

I do however remember seeing some "Southern Milk Chocolate Ice Cream" and decided it was time to try it. Plus they were on sale buy 1 get 1 free. I tried some after dinner last night and I have to say it is pretty good. Now I don't actually taste a difference between chocolate ice cream and this but hey it was good.

I have not tried fat back or black eyed peas yet as no one will make them for me. When I do, I will blog about them.
