Results of crafty explosion

After perusing 3 crafty type stores over the weekend, these are my results. I purchased a few little cross stitch items to remember how much fun they are to make and how they make my hands cramp up. My first finished piece is the "Girls Rule". I have not decided where to hang it up yet.

Please answer my poll. After a discussion with my co-worker yesterday, she felt that knitting was easier to learn, and I felt that crocheting was easier to learn. I am curious to see what the majority of people think on this subject. Guys you can answer too, it doesn't mean you want to learn to knit cute pink hats, just which one looks easier to complete.
